Free Energy Market
LLV has been part of the Free Energy Market since February 2017 and is part of the Sustainable Profile Program, which records the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) that were no longer emitted due to the purchase of renewable energy in the Free Contracting Environment (ACL). In 2020, LLV received the Clean Energy Profile Program certificate.
The certificate confirms that the company stopped emitting 432,744 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) between January and December 2019. Participation in the Program encourages the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency. In addition, the migration from the Captive Market to the Free Energy Market not only contributes to cost reduction, but also enables negotiation of the term and indexation.
The certificate was created especially for Perfil Energia customers and is part of the Sustainable Profile Program, which was developed by an independent consultancy, following the internationally accepted methodology. Companies that use renewable energy sources receive the Clean Energy Profile Program certificate annually, and Perfil Energia customers who consume energy in the Free Contracting Environment can join the Program free of charge.
